Our Services

Residential window cleaning

We run a professional window cleaning business and customer satisfaction is our main priority. The price we agree with you is for the cleaning of the glass, uPVC frames and window sills.

Conservatory cleaning

Upon your request we can clean the exterior glass of your conservatory at specified intervals or as a one-off job. The water-fed pole system ensures that in most cases we can get access to the conservatory roof without the need to climb over it!

Fascias and soffits

If and when required we can also clean fascia boards and soffits or any difficult to reach plastic cladding using our high reach water fed pole system. Please ask for a quote.

Carpets and upholstery

When you invest a considerable amount of money in your carpets, rugs and upholstery, it makes good sense to keep them clean and well maintained, not only for your health, but also to keep them in top condition. We revitalise your soft furnishings and breathe new life into your home or commercial premises.

Commercial work

While we always provide personal care and attention when it comes to the individual residential customer, we are still happy to deal with larger contracts. The bulk of our commercial window cleaning work is for shops, hotels, pubs, restaurants, offices, industrial units, care homes, retail outlets and showrooms. We also clean office chairs and carpets, undertake spot cleaning for hotels and guest houses, and provide a mattress cleaning service for care homes.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do you call to clean windows?

4/6 or 12 weekly cycles.

What happens if I’m not in to pay?

Pay via BACS, PayPal or leave a cheque in the envelope provided (see Payments).

Do you clean the windowsills?

Yes we do.

Can you clean the windows above my conservatory?

Yes we can.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes we do.

What method do you use to clean my windows?

Pure water via a pole and brush or the traditional method.

Do you provide online payment via credit card?

Yes we do (see Payments).

I live in Keevil. Do you clean windows here?

Yes. We cover a 25 mile radius which includes: Bath, Box, Bradford-on-Avon, Calne, Chippenham, Corsham, Devizes, Hilperton, Holt, Keevil, Melksham, Seend, Southwick, Staverton, Trowbridge, Warminster, Westbury and Winsley.

How often should upholstered office chairs be cleaned?

Commercial upholstery should be cleaned at least once a year by a professional cleaning service that knows how to remove maximum soil, perhaps twice a year in heavy use situations. The increased use life of the upholstery and the savings in productivity will pay for the cost of cleaning.

I think I can clean my soft furnishings myself, is this recommended?

It is highly recommended that a professional cleaner is used. There are many items available to the public that are advertised for carpet and upholstery cleaning. However, along with these come many risks and the potential of causing irreversible damage. We have the correct training and knowledge, along with access to professional products, to ensure that a correct and safe job is carried out and the best possible results are achieved.

Will all the stains come out?

No guarantee can be made that any particular stain will be removed. Some stains permanently damage the carpet fibres and no amount of specialist cleaning will reverse this. We have received advanced training for spot and stain removal and will be able to deal with most problems. If you have a stain you are concerned about, discuss it with a member beforehand and they will be happy to advise.

What is the IICRC?

The IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) was formed in 1972 to serve as an independent, non-profit certification body. They aim to set and promote high standards and ethics, and to advance communication and technical proficiency within the inspection, cleaning and restoration service industry.

What is your method for cleaning upholstery?

First, we thoroughly vacuum the upholstery to remove dry and loose dirt, before applying our eco- friendly cleaning solution. We then agitate the solution with a brush or microfibre cloth. For particularly dirty upholstery, we use a specially designed upholstery cleaning tool attachment. This deep rinses the dirt from the fabric and is quick drying. We would advise applying Protect Nano to your upholstery once it is clean.

What is Protect Nano?

Protect Nano is a water based fluorochemical polymer that can be used to protect carpets and upholstery from both dry and oil/water based soiling. When applied to a fibre, the treatment forms an invisible, protective, UV stable and breathable barrier. It does not change the look or feel of the fibre. Spillages should not be left untreated and should be removed by lightly blotting the surface with a dry absorbent cloth.

Gutter Cleaning

Gutter cleaning is important if you would like to avoid costly repair bills. Unfortunately, if you put it off for too long your property will suffer. Rotting fascia boards, a leaking roof, damp… These are just a few problems which can arise if not maintained on a regular basis.

Here at A Cleaner Group we have a safe and effective solution. Using our high powered machines we can remove and clear your guttering up to heights of 4 stories from the ground. The Health and Safety issues that normally associate with working at height are massively minimised or completely removed.

There is no moving of ladders or access equipment meaning the cleaning will get done in a quicker time when compared to traditional methods, saving you money on hire or scaffolding.

Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning

Our carpet and upholstery cleaning service is customer focused and tailor-made to your needs. All of our technicians have been trained to a high standard and hold industry recognised qualifications (Prochem & IICRC) so that they can provide you with an excellent level of professional service.

It is essential that your carpets, rugs and upholstery are kept clean and attractive. The areas most likely to require cleaning are those used on a daily basis, for example hallways, stairways, and living rooms. They will get spills and marks, and start to look dirty in appearance. This is where we come in.

We also know that the condition of the environments in which we live and work is vital to our health and wellbeing; that is why we use the most environmentally friendly products we can.

We can also apply stain protection to carpets and upholstery, which does not change the look or feel of the fibre. The repellent finish is effective against water, coffee, tea, and red wine, and most liquid spillages will pearl off the treated fibre. It can be applied with equal success to new carpet or freshly cleaned carpets. These products are anti-allergen and anti-dustmite, safe for children, wool, and pets, as well as being kind to the environment.

We value a level of technical excellence, professionalism and genuine customer care and promise no high-pressure sales gimmicks and no hidden costs. We will always visit and inspect first, carry out tests to see what cleaning method should be used and then provide you with a free quotation.

Pressure Washing

The entrance of your home or business should be as inviting as your home or business itself. Using the latest High Pressure equipment, A Cleaner Group are able to provide a high quality, professional service for block paving, patios, decking, pathways, forecourts, car parks and most paved and brick surfaces. This is done by removing the rubber marks, oil, mould, mildew, and dirt that time and environment have left behind.

We specialise in all aspects of high pressure and low pressure (see our soft washing page) including decking, patios, tarmac, concrete, stone, brick, cladding, uPVC, render, roofs, signs, awnings, block paving, canopies, paths, forecourts and driveways. Page preview Soft Washing

Soft Washing

Soft Washing is used to remove and kill, algae, lichen, fungi, moss and mould to restore exterior surfaces to their original condition. It removes use of harsh chemicals and pressure washing which in some cases can damage the surface. It can be safely used on all exterior surfaces, render cleaning, roof cleaning, concrete cleaning, uPVC cleaning, painted surfaces, commercial/industrial kingspan cladding, block paving, patios, decking and much more. In most cases jobs can be completed from ground level removing costs off access equipment and scaffolding.

Conservatory Cleaning

Over time, dirt and grime build up on your conservatory, especially on the roof, which will very easily trap moss, algae and bird droppings. If this is not cleaned off, it can lead to permanent staining and discolouration.

Some of our clients have tried to clean conservatories themselves, only to realize how difficult this is! We excel in cleaning conservatories including cleaning and restoration of all windows and doors, soffit boards and gutters. Upon your request we can clean the exterior glass of your conservatory at specified intervals to keep it looking pristine or as a one-off clean, perhaps after the winter months.

We can clean your conservatory in two different ways, either using the old hand wash method which involves using specially designed conservatory roof ladders with cross bearers or using a pure water pole system from the ground. The water-fed pole system ensures that in most cases we can get access to the conservatory roof without the need to climb over it! We will clean all PVC side units, roof and finials or the internal framework of the conservatory. We recommend having the conservatory cleaned twice a year.

Cleaning the conservatory can make all the difference, especially over the summer months. We also clean all of the uPVC sections and sills, which leaves your conservatory sparkling clean and gleaming white. You will immediately see a huge difference in the amount of light that will come in.
